Small hydro power plants

    Small hydro power plants (SHPPs) represent the healthiest production of electric energy. For its production they use renewable source of energy – water.

    Our company can provide you the project design and implementation for the whole electric part of SHPP. We can deliver turbines, produce electric switchboards, develop control programs to control the whole SHPP using control systems of world-known manufactures (Schneider Electric, Siemens, ...). We can develop visualization for PCs which allows you to monitor the actual status of SHPP not only textually but also graphically, archive actual operation and status values, generate reports (both daily and monthly), show ALARM messages, send important data through internet or by SMS messages directly to your mobile phone. It is possible to add a web-server allowing you to monitor the actual SHPP status on your PC at home through Internet and TCP/IP connection.

    The SHPP uses two Banki turbines, each of them driving an asynchronous generator (50 KW). The Banki turbine has 6 chambers for water passage, each being individually controllable. The control is designed with the TWIDO control system (Schneider Electric) which is connected over serial communication with a PC where there is visualization for controlling the small water power plant. Remote communication between the user and small water power plant is made by a GPRS-modem. Alarm messages and data about produced electricity are sent to the user by SMS-messages.
