The most common systems for intelligent houses

The most common systems for home and building automation

knxlogoKNX (EIB Instabus) system

The open system is a successor of the European Installation Bus (EIB Instabus). It is supported by many manufactures such as ABB, Jung, Gira, Merten, Schneider Electric, Siemens and others (http://www.knx.org/knx-members/list/).
In KNX, there are plenty of devices such sensors, pusbuttons, control units, devices for lighting, blind, heating, ventilation control, etc.
KNX technology is supported by many manufactures of other equipment and systems such as boilers, cooling, air-conditioning units, home appliances, audio and video systems, etc. The system can satisfy the needs of the most demanding customers, design selection being another strenght

lonmarklogoLON system

The open system is built on the LONWORKS technology developed by company Echelon, USA, with a broad use mainly in the area of building automation. Similarly to KNX, this LON bus decentralized technology is supported by many manufactures coming from the whole world. Communication media can be twisted pair, power line, IP, or wireless.
LON solutions offer wide possibilities also for the highest control level (building managment), and HVAC equipment and systems.

inelslogoINELS system

The core of INELS system consists of central unit CU2-01M with Ethernet communication interface (for connecting PC, NB, PDA, internet), 27V power supply choke BPS2-O2M, and external bus master module MI2-O2M. RS232 bus of core unit can connect to GSM modem GSM2-01 for GSM phone control. CIB bus is used for system modules which are flush-mounted or switchboard mounted. The system offers basic home automation devices which can satisfy customers with higher needs for home automation system. There are modules for lighting, blind, power circuit control, temperature, illumination sensors, pushbuttons, input-output modules, DA converters, etc.

cybrologoCYBRO system

Cybro freely programmable controller is the core building block of this automation system. Cybro controller is equipped with CAN interface to connect IEX modules covering every possible IO unit (digital, analog, temperature, moisture, illumination, movement, presence), communication protocols (infrared, RS232, RS485, Ethernet, DSI, DALI, GSM, GPRS), operator panels, dedicated high-function modules (access control, inverter unit, RGB controller, fan-coil, hotel room, light controller, switch unit, park sensor...).
The Cybro controller may have local inputs, outputs and communication interfaces, with Ethernet being the most important among them. A-bus protocol allows perfect low cost choice for connecting Cybro controllers, touch screen panels and PCs with visualization.
Compatibility to various other automation and security systems and protocols can easily be achieved with the use of an appropriate gateway.
The system is suitable for both larger buildings and family houses, it can satisfy also customers with special needs for home automation system.

bticinologoBticino MY HOME - control system for lighting, blinds, heating, cooling, audio, door entry

The system allows the implementation of modern intelligent installations with the integration of all basic technologies in family houses or office buildings. Users can thus afford comfort and quality which are unattainable in case of traditional installations.
Bticino functionality overview:

  • control of lights, rollers, blinds, heating, cooling
  • manual control by wall alebo remote module, LCD touch panel, mobile phone, PDA, or PC,
